  About Us

Tracker Systems, Inc. has been in business for over 16 years. We began as a software development and support service for several Massachusetts Housing Authorities who were looking for more responsive service. We have grown to support 14 local and out-of-state housing authorities. We also do a small percentage of our business in automation for the manufacturing industry.

The history of Tracker Systems association with public housing agencies began in 1985 with Lawrence Housing Authority. We soon became the software support for South Shore Housing, and HAC the year after. Milford Housing came on board soon after. We grew to meet the needs of several out-of- state housing agencies, including Fairfax, Virginia, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and Jonesboro, Arkansas by 1990. We currently have software support and maintenance contracts with 11 public housing agencies, and are implementing some of our software modules in 3 others.

TSI is a small company, with five employees serving all the needs of our clients personally and efficiently. The president and owner is Stephen Vigeant, who will serve as the project manager for your software conversion.

Stephen Vigeant has over 17 years experience in software development and support, graduating from Framingham State College in 1984 with  a BS in computer science. He has extensive experience in Novell, Unix, and Windows  operating systems, and is proficient in Dataflex and Crystal Reports. His expertise as a software developer and systems analyst, along with his leadership and communication skills have led the software conversion process with clients such as RHI, CTI, SMOC, and SSH. He currently supports the Information Technology Collaborative for Mass. non-profit housing agencies.

Our Senior Programmer, Ken Claflin, graduated from CBC in 1987 with a BA degree.  He has been with TSI for over 9 years as a software developer and systems analyst. He designed and wrote over 30 Dataflex software systems for housing and manufacturing. He knows Novell, Unix, and Windows operating systems, as well as being a Novell(CNE) certified netware engineer since 1993. He has assisted in five Housing Authority conversions, and understands the process thoroughly.

Software Engineer, Bruce Lively, has been with TSI for two years, working closely with our clients. He was key in training and support during the software conversions for RHI and SMOC last year. Bruce has over 20 years experience in computer technical support, UNIX system management, VAX system management, and Microsoft network management.

Tracker Systems, Inc. also contracts with StarkData Inc. of Waltham, Massachusetts for technical support when needed. They have over 20 years experience in Dataflex software design and programming. Their software engineers have helped write several Dataflex programs used by our housing clients.

Our office support staff are all experienced in dealing with housing clients and their automation issues.  All calls are directed to the appropriate staff, and answered within minutes. All housing agency problems are usually solved that same day. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to meet your software needs.
